A-ha moments

When using new gadgets and software, I was introduced to many new techniques and information while editing my opening sequence for my film boy. The one thing I learned was that there was a feature that's called stabilize shaky video. This helps clips that are shakier and not smooth as if it was filmed using a crane, not a hand-held. That and color correction really create a new, cleaner picture when manipulating brightness, aperture, and contrast.

Another learning experience is that I realized I did not need so many shot perspectives when shooting. I was able to film enough footage and THEN SOME. So much more that half of it was taken out from my rough cut.

These new discoveries have definitely changed my perspective and knowledge clearer when learning how to film and edit in post-production. Learning the new techniques and ways of production and post-production .
