Storyboard Process
I'm not good at drawing but, these small stick figure sketches are good for organizing how I want my shots and directions to look. For this first page, I thought it would be good to establish a setting...so the establishing shot would look very good starting my film.
I wanted to establish my protagonist's day routine for the opening of the movie. By doing so I chose to stage him doing normal activities, that audiences and viewers could connect with.
Then finally, I want to introduce a subject that will create an initial downfall in this protagonist's life. At my location, they are renovating and due to that there is plenty of construction that I can take advantage of for my film. I am using a huge dirt mound that my protagonist will abruptly start at which will end my opening sequence with questions from the audience.
