Technology and Filmmaking

I have pretty much thought about this since the beginning. What technology do I need? Well, I know for sure I am planning to use a Nikon D3500 and a Canon Rebel T7i. Both cameras work of similar nature and show a great picture. They are not too complicated and capture in different settings that would work great for my film. I know that they are not made specifically for video, but I know they will work perfectly for what I am creating.

Nikon D3500
"It's as easy to use as a point-and-shoot, but it takes beautiful DSLR photos and videos that get noticed. It feels outstanding in your hands, sturdy and balanced with controls where you want them. It's compact, durable and versatile, ideal for travel. And it works seamlessly with compatible smartphones, making it easier than ever to share your great photos. Even if you've never picked up a DSLR camera, you can take beautiful pictures with D3500."
Cannon Rebel T7i
"A 45-point all cross-type AF system* and optical viewfinder lets you stay ready for that unforgettable moment with virtually no lag between what you see and what you get when you press the shutter. Fast and accurate Dual Pixel CMOS AF with phase-detection locks focus quickly and accurately to help make sure you don’t miss a great shot. A 24.2 Megapixel CMOS (APS-C) sensor helps you capture special moments from vacations to family events in brilliant color, detail and vibrancy for beautifully memorable photos and videos."

I would most likely connect that to my iPhone, and use a recording app so that actors have a direct microphone during filming. Lastly, I want to use Adobe Premiere Pro to cut and splice all my films together. It would be mainly because that program fits my platform for my computer, which is windows. I am naturally more comfortable with it because I have used it previously and it will work very well with my film.
